Anonymous Petitions White House to legalize DDoS attacks

The anonymous hacker cabal, Anonymous, or someone purporting to represent them, has started a petition on the White House’s We The People site to legalize DDoS (Destributed Denial of Service) attacks as recognized forms of protest in the digital age.

    Should DDoS-ing be legal? I think Anonymous has a point by calling it a form of cyber protesting which doesn’t iclude any harm to a website or any form of real hacking but I think DDoS-ing is more effective or has more of an impact when it is illegal. And also if it was legal I am afraid there will be alot of DDoS-ing just for the purpose of trolling. To be honest I think their petition should fail, not because I think DDoS-ing is a bad and illegal thing but because it represents some kind of power like the power of the internet something the government can’t really control and this should be maintained, I guess.
